Storm King Theater will reopen in 2026 as a restored and reimagined destination for film, performance, and cultural experiences, honoring its historic legacy while introducing a new era of programming and community engagement.

Founded in 2016 as Cornwall-on-Hudson Special Events, Storm King Events carries forward the same mission and values under a new identity. With a new home at the Storm King Theater, the organization now offers year-round, free community programming—indoors and out—designed to bring people together and activate the village. Storm King Events continues to operate under the Community Foundation of Orange, Sullivan, and Rockland.
